Hi, I'm Molly!
When my friends started getting married, I had two wishes. The first was for all of them to find lifelong love and happiness. The second was that they would ask me to officiate their weddings. Lucky for me, my dreams came true! I fell in love with officiating weddings for friends and family and, so far, all of those couples remain happily married.
I love wedding ceremonies that are personal, playful and sentimental.
When I began officiating weddings, I learned that the job is so much more than reading a ceremony script and handing out rings.
My background in comedy is probably what made me an exciting prospect to officiate for friends and family, but it's not just my improv training or my script writing bonafides that make my ceremonies successful. My secret sauce is all in the flow, presentation and personal touches.
I get to know the couples I work with and aim to make it feel like your new best friend is officiating your wedding. I help the couple translate their love story so that everyone in attendance can feel the connection. I focus on the elements to include in the ceremony, what order to put them in, and, most importantly, how to craft language that makes their significance clear and the transition from one to the next seamless. The result is ceremonies that are warm, funny and wholly reflective of the couple's love and commitment.
